When our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visits any country outside India, the popularity which he gets there is truly amazing. Although, it is very much true that he strengthen India and its nations in foreign countries, though it doesn’t happen overnight. The reputation building process for India and Indians started from May 1998 when we did the series of five nuclear bomb tests at Pokhran.

That was the moment of our success. That was the moment which brought pride in ourself, pride for our country, proud of our army, proud for our strength, and Pokhran nuclear tests II is that moment for India which changed everything. Credit goes to that time Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Shri A P J Abdul Kalam Sir, and some unknown names who participated in the making of History.

APJ Abdul Kalam was the brain behind Pokhran II. He Spent many sleepless nights in the unbearable heat of the desert.

20 Years ago, on May 11, 1998, we Indians displayed our strength and what we can do to the entire world. They imposed many bans on us, but we fought them brilliantly and came out of the tough situation without taking help from anyone. And that made our country a strong nation.

World TV Premiere of Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran on 15th August!

If your age is less than 25 years old, then I doubt that you would have witnessed those glorious moments. But if you have heard about the same, then it is the time when you should know about the true story behind the Pokhran II. Why were the tests so important for India at that time? Why did India decide to do Nuclear Tests? We are always a Peace supporting nation, and still, we follow the rule that we would never attack any country with nuclear weapons, unless and until they do so first. Still, why India did those nuclear tests? How we did these tests when the USA was strongly against us? How we conducted the nuclear tests when US Satellites and Spy’s were all behind us?

Who are all interested to see the real story behind the nuclear tests which we did on May 11, 1998? If you are, then you should celebrate India’s 1st step towards becoming a superpower on this Independence Day, you can watch the World TV Premiere of Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran on 15th August.

Humne jo Socha woh Desh ke liye tha, Humne jo kiya woh Desh ke liye hai. Aur Humne jo Paaya woh Desh ka Hoga!

I watched this movie a few months back, though I am still excited to watch it again and that too on the auspicious occasions of Independence Day. In my opinion movies like Parmanu, which has the story behind the second nuclear tests which we did at Pokhran in 1998, gives us the opportunity to build a sense of belonging and national pride.

Pokhran was not an ordinary instance, Parmanu, the movie has brought focus towards how difficult it was to conduct the nuclear tests in a country where ruling party did not even have the full majority of the house. It also brought focus towards how India did fool American satellites and security agencies to do the nuclear tests. This movie Parmanu will also tell you the fact that India was considered as a soft nation, still, they did these nuclear tests to become a Nuclear Power nation. Although, India always strongly gives the message that no-one should fear from these nuclear bombs. These are only for constructive purposes, we are not going to use them in the war for the first time.

India ka Superpower Moment!

Being said that, I am leaving you all behind with the glorious memory and will request you all to watch the world TV premiere of Parmanu at 12 noon only on Zee Cinema on this Independence Day.

Conclusion

A few weeks ago, when I was not in a condition to watch any movie, because of the poor health conditions of my wife, I decided to watch Parmanu, along with my wife and that too in a nearby theatre only. Sitting for around 3 hours in a movie hall was not an easy decision, though I wanted her to see this movie. Parmanu is not a commercial movie, it gives you a message. It inspires you to become a nationalist. I don’t shout out to be known as a nationalist, though I try to do some small-small things through which I show myself as a nationalist. And I never show it to anyone else than me. I don’t want others to remember me as a nationalist, but whenever my nation requires me, I should be available there.

In my opinion, if you are not wearing a uniform, it doesn’t mean that you cannot do something for your country. Let’s do some small things like saying Thank You to any Armymen you meet on a random basis. Let’s say Thank you to a security guard who is standing there on a Railway Station or Metro Station to protect us. These small-small activities in itself will give you happiness and the moment of pride. We all can do such tiny looking things which can help us to become a better citizen. This movie also gives the same message and we should always follow it.
