Design Thinking for Bloggers and Blogging!

Did you ever think about what Design Thinking is and how to implement Design Thinking for Bloggers and Blogging? Let us discuss the same in this blog post of mine.

Design Thinking, a term which fascinates me all the time. This is the reason why I couldn’t be able to say No to the email in which I received an invitation to attend the WorkShop on Design Thinking.

The first reaction of mine was Wow when I received an email from IndiBlogger, the number one community of Bloggers in India (at least in my opinion they are the number one community of bloggers) to attend a workshop on Design Thinking. I usually never say a No to an event organized by IndiBlogger, although with this workshop there was a condition, and it was that your blog should qualify for it.

Luckily I got the invitation and with such a hectic and busy schedule through which I am going through these days, I still decided to attend it. Although the workshop was scheduled on a weekday and that too in office hours only, there were three reasons why I decided to attend it:

• One, it is being organized by IndiBlogger
• Two, it is on the topic of Design Thinking
• Third, and the most important, this workshop was conducted by Pearson India

Do you know about Pearson India or its parent company Pearson? Pearson is the world’s largest learning company and a big name in the field of e-learning. Thus when I came to know that IndiBlogger is calling me to attend a workshop on Design Thinking and that too conducted by Pearson India, I was super excited to accept the offer, and I joined the workshop despite having so many odd factors against its schedule.

What is Design Thinking?

In my work life too I came through this term for some time during last few months. Do you know what Design Thinking is?

When we hear Design Thinking, the first picture which came into our mind is of some tool which is related with Designers, but it is not true. No matter if you are an author, or an artist, or a painter, or an engineer, or a musician, or even a Blogger too, the innovations which you can bring in your field is known as design thinking. No matter if it is designed properly or not, but any new innovative idea which can bring some enhancement in your field, is considered as Design Thinking.

Design Thinking for Bloggers and Blogging!

So, you all are regular readers of my Blog and you know that I am not much active in Blogging since last few months. Reason being some of my professional commitments, but still, I try to share a few random blog posts whenever I get time from my busy professional and personal life. From last few months, the poor health of my wife and the responsibilities associated with my little angel made me a bit away from my blog. Though, you know that I was one of the regular bloggers a few years back.

There are many readers of my blog who appreciate and encourage me as a Blogger. But, somehow I missed focus on my blog and am not a regular blogger anymore.

What We Came to Know in WorkShop on Design Thinking?

The event started with an introduction towards Pearson Group and Pearson India by Vikas Singh who is the MD of Pearson India. He along with Varun Dhamija, who is the Vice President of Pearson Professional Programs at Pearson India, explained us about the basics of Design Thinking and how can we implement the same on our Blog and how can we get benefits of Design Thinking as a Blogger.

It was an extremely great event and we came to know about many things related to Design Thinking. When we think about implementing Design Thinking on our blog, we can transform our blog into a Human-Centered Blog, which can further make us Humble. Implementing Design Thinking is actually a Team Sport and Iterative thing.

Without the love and help of your readers you cannot implement design thinking on your blog.

It Starts with Low Resolution and Ends on High Resolution.

What Should You Take From This Blog Post of Mine?

Although I have shared many tips about Blogging, SEO, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Self Help, etc. in some previous blog posts of mine, you might ask me what we should take from this blog post of mine. Being a Blogger I myself try to implement many things on my blog and share the same with my readers so that they all can also benefit from my experience. If you will implement design thinking on your blog, I guess the purpose of the same should be to increase the Desirability, Viability, and Feasibility of the same among your readers.

Whatever you blog about should always be desirable, viable and feasible to your readers. It will certainly be going to help you to become an established name in the field of blogging. Do remember if you are able to achieve it, you will soon become a renowned name in your field.
