I did not know about Bounce rate – the term. Though I have wondered about the scenario. Recently, when I changed my theme to plain where the widgets can be accessed using a button, I was skeptical about the blog traffic and of course, the bounce rate. For the visitors wouldn’t be able to view the other posts that were earlier displayed in the sidebars. Now I got the answer. Planning to change my theme to one with visible sidebars asap.

A very helpful post Alok. I really have to work on my engagement with users and internal linking. Although I have done them in parts, I have never made a focused approach on it which has reduced my results. I guess I need to focus on these two aspects right away.
Also I wanted to ask you this, I currently have a page view of 9.9. What is a good page view amount? And how is 9.9 rated? Is it actually good or below average. What is the average I should be aiming to achieve?
