Things to consider When Choosing a WordPress Hosting!
You wanted to have a blog; a self-hosted WordPress is the best option for you. But the question is what things to consider when choosing a WordPress hosting?
Read on this blog post of mine to understand what exactly are the things which you should look from a site while you are purchasing web hosting from it? What are the things you should remember when choosing a web hosting for your new WordPress blog?
Today, I was discussing with one of my blogger friends on Twitter, and she was fed up with her current hosting provider. The moment she asked me for a recommendation, I immediately thought about writing a blog post on this topic. So, in this post, I’ll cover everything you need to consider when choosing WordPress hosting, plus a few top recommendations. For instance, if you’re looking for reliability, speed, and security, Voxfor’s managed WordPress hosting is definitely worth considering. It offers robust features tailored specifically for WordPress, making it ideal for bloggers and businesses alike. If you work from home or manage your website using your home wifi, you may want to utilize cheap datacenter proxies to keep your online data private.
Here are some of those considerations:
No doubt WordPress being the most popular blogging platform and it is quite easy to install as well. When it comes to check the compatibility you should check following things with your new hosting provider:
It must have PHP installed on it, as per latest WordPress instructions it should be PHP version 5.2.4 or greater.
And it must also have MySQL, as per latest WordPress instructions it should be version 5.0 or greater.
You will be surprised to know the fact that WordPress is so popular among bloggers and professionals that most of the renowned web hosting companies come along with a special one click installation for installing them.
Web hosting companies like eWebGuru will provide you with the best hosting performance for your WordPress sites and will always make sure that they are optimized for the best performance, either for the visitor or for the search engines as well. Be it the loading time, be it the responsiveness of your site, be it the speed, be it the security, anything related to the performance of your website should be handled comfortably by the web hosting provider.
Security being the most concerned things these days, you should make sure that your WordPress site is secure enough and it should be taken care by the web hosting providers. They should never compromise on the security of your WordPress site.
Another consideration which you need to consider about choosing a WordPress hosting is that your web hosting provider should keep regular backups of your website. You never know when because of some unwanted things you might lose your website and this is the time when the role of backups came into play.
You never know when you are needed to take the help of the support team for your WordPress site. So the essential criteria of selecting a WordPress hosting are that it should have the best support system. Be it telephonic support, or chat support, or ticket system, or email support, or any way, but they should remain available to respond to your queries.
When it comes about choosing best WordPress hosting, I guess you should never compromise on the performance and security of your site. No matter if you choose web hosting sites from the recommendations which we are going to make over here, or from some other site as well, but you should understand the features which your web hosting provider is offering and the reliability which you can have on your service provider.
Based on my own experiences I can recommend a few renowned web hosting providers which provide excellent services and support.
Based on my own experiences I can say that Web Hosting Hub is the best and easiest way to host your WordPress sites. You can search the Web Hosting Hub review among Google and some other websites and you will find all positive reviews about them. They do have easy control panel, one click installation for WordPress sites, numerous awards and I must say that it is really hard to beat them when it comes about value and pricing.
Not only that WebHostingHub coupons and special discounts are yet another ways to get services from them if you are not impressed with WebHostingHub reviews. Do visit this link and compare the different plans which they are offering.
My second preferred web hosting for WordPress sites is of iPage. iPage is a web hosting provider which is getting the popularity during recent time. Best thing with iPage hosting is that they do have some pre-installed plugins which can make your WordPress hosting fabulous.
Not only this they also do have automatic malware detection and removal, which can make your website a super safe one.
Click on this link and visit them for getting the WP Essential hosting from iPage.
When it comes about hosting a WordPress site, my third recommendation will be the BlueHosts. They are one of the most popular websites for WordPress hosting and quite an older company too.
The best thing with BlueHost is that you can get hosting for unlimited domains, with unlimited hosting space, and unlimited email accounts for a reasonable price of around $3.49 per month basis. You may also contact the TimetoReply service that provides insights from your email data.
So don’t wait at all and click on here to grab a hosting space for your new blog.
When it comes as my own choice for web hosting, the very first name which comes into my mind is of HostGator, although at present time if someone asks me, I am not going to recommend Hostgator to them. Reason being the fact that during recent time their services has gone down badly. Ask my friend Vinay Nagaraju of inspire99.com about the review of HostGator and I am sure you you understand how their services has gone down during recent time.
They were no doubt the best one and when it comes about getting support from them, getting site backups from them, they are no doubt still one of the best hosting companies of the world. As far as the downtime or server related issues are concerned, more or less they are the best one in that respect as well.
You can visit this link and compare different web hosting plans which they are offering. You can also use a coupon of “TechAcidVA” and you can get around $9.94 off from the first month.
To be very frank, I am not going to recommend GoDaddy for web hosting purposes. Do you know the reason why? The reason being their poor support. I don’t want that my readers should have to face any issue, and so I would not recommend anyone to host their WordPress sites from them. You can have domain name from them, but don’t get a web hosting from Godaddy.
In case you already have hosting with GoDaddy, then you might be thinking about how to shift the hosting of a WordPress website? Don’t worry you will get the response over here. Though it’s a bit older blog of mine, but you will get the idea from it.
So that is the all about things to consider when choosing a WordPress hosting is concerned. If you found this blog useful then you can feel free to share it on your social networking profiles. It really means a lot to us.

This is a very nice and a detailed one Alok. I have heard so much about Bluehost and Hostgator for their services. Thanks to you my site is in good hands. Although I do need to ensure a constant back up mechanism though. Thanks for reminding. I shall take a back up today 🙂

This is the post I was searching for. I get answers of all of the conundrums at the one place. Thanks sir 🙂
I have another query. If I go for paid hosting then I have to purchase a wp theme? I am not going to get a good theme for free?
_Nitin
Thank you so much Nitin for liking the post. I am glad that you get some benefit out of it. It is not like that you must have to purchase a theme only, you can get many quality themes for free as well. There are so many websites developed in WordPress which is working on any free theme only and they all are looking exceptionally well too. But there is a real difference between a free and a paid one. The difference is the coding part, which makes a paid theme special as search engines likes the structured coding used by premium themes. You won’t get that with most of the free themes.
This is really detailed and helpful for new bloggers like me 🙂
Thank you so much Nalini, am glad that you liked it.
