Nice one Alok.. It is indeed an inescapable truth that no matter what you write, there shall always be someone or the other to point fingers at it. Taking them positively like you mentioned is certainly the way to go. Added to that, there sure is a certain grace in the way we receive these comments and try and understand why the other person is writing this in the first place – it takes a bit for someone to come and make a negative comment on the blog. People usually are more than eager to leave a positive one… But on the other hand there will be times of a nasty comment on the blog which we need to learn to ignore ๐

Hi Alok bro,
The title is so pulling. Just like you said, deleting negative comments cannot help us and also will be discouraging. Responding positively helps a lot and also builds some kind of confidence. I have experienced it and learned a lot from negative commentators. In fact I turned some of them into my blog readers :p
Thank you for sharing such an encouraging article bro! Have a good day!

Well, Alok, negative comments are not always to demoralize the author; sometimes, it is just the independent opinion of the commentator. Take this comment of mine as an example, it may appear as negative comment in some way because I don’t agree with you completely, but my intention is not to demoralize you, as you understand it very well. I’m expressing my honest view.
There are two types of negative comments. In one, people just disagree with author’s opinion and honestly convey it and enter into a healthy discussion with the intention to understand the author’s point of view. And, in second, people just want to prove the author wrong. They just shut their mind and give arguments.
At first glance, it’s difficult to distinguish them, but if, within 1-2 reply you feel irritation in comments from other side, identify the commentator as 2nd type who just want to prove his point and nothing else. Stop replying because he isn’t listening you.

Well Ravish, I don’t think so that it is a negative comment by any way. You are actually extending the points which I missed in my post, so I will take it as a very much positive comment only.
You are absolutely correct with the two types of negative comments posters. And you are also right about how can we identify the second types of comment posters.
Honestly negative comments are always a motivation for bloggers like me… Thanks buddy for sharing all these and spreading your love and care towards my blog. ๐

There should be different opinions on any issue and I find it interesting. I treat negative comments positively, as you’ve said, and try to establish my point through conversation. After all, interaction and connectivity are some aspects of blogging… ๐ Great article…!

Sometimes we need negative comments , I mean criticisms (constructive) to improve ourselves, our work because no one is perfect. Agree with you that having patience and having faith on ourselves is important to deal with negativity.
-
Yes Moon you are absolutely right that we sometimes need negative comments as well to improve ourselves ๐ This is the reason why I wrote this blog, since I saw many people losing their heart for negative comments ๐ Thank you so much for your comment over here.
