5 SEO Tactics You Should Know!
SEO is a vast industry, I being an SEO might not know even all the things related with it. Read on this blog post of mine on 5 SEO tactics you should know about.
SEO undoubtedly had so many things which no one might claim to know about. As I always claim that I don’t know more than 5% of SEO related things, I usually try to share that knowledge only with the readers of mine.
I am quite hopeful that readers of my blog do love reading those blogs.
A few days back I published a blog on the facts associated with some common SEO Myths, and I do have a firm believe that not many SEO’s will ever disclose those facts with their clients.
Read on this blog post of mine on 5 SEO tactics which surely is outdated these days and people should know about them. Sticking to these things when you are looking for an SEO for your website might not become fruitful for you.
If you are going to an SEO and asking for backlinks for your website, it itself is a forgotten things now, and if your SEO is responding about it then you should remain cautious from him or her.
Gone are the days when webmasters and SEO’s were running towards the volume of back links for their website. But now the time has changed. Now you just need to focus about developing your website in a quality way so that it can automatically get some mentions on social sites and thus those mentions become back links for your website.
As I already mentioned in some blog posts related to SEO that back links are not completely obsolete too. You simply need backlinks to rank better on search engines, but my suggestion is that you should not go for any links. Try to build some quality links for your site and go for guest blogging and social media promotion for your websites for it.
Try to develop great quality content for your website which will provide you the authority and back links for your website. With Google’s Penguin algorithm update, relevancy and quality of the links is more important than any other thing.
And it will be an authentic and automatic process as well. You need not to beg for links for your website.
Don’t simply publish content on your website for the sake of the point that there should be some content needed on your website. Remember the fact that quality content is the thing which is essential for any website. It will give you the popularity, back links, authority, recognition and everything required for making your website a better one.
So stop publishing content for its own sake on your website. You know what I fell sick suddenly on Friday afternoon and I have been taken to hospital by my colleague, though I became normal within a few minutes, but still my colleagues forced me to visit the hospital. I went for some normal checkup and everything else was fine, but my BP was somewhere around 160/100 which is quite high. It was the reason why I suddenly felt bad.
I might have posted some posts on Friday and Saturday on my blog, but I did not go for them, as I was not sure about them. I usually write a rough post or draft first and then I finish them with full satisfaction and then only allow them to publish on my blog.
Just because I am a blogger and I want to publish or maintain a daily schedule on my blog, it does not means that I will post anything on my blog. My blog posts are taken seriously by a few bloggers and visitors of my site, and hence it is my duty to provide them quality.
It is very much required to take care of, be it about backlinks or about content on your site. There was a time when people were considering lengthy posts are considered good by Google, but it is a normal perception now that length of the post doesn’t matters a lot. You need to provide value to your visitors. No matter what length of content you are writing.
As per the trends going on these days, posts with images, videos, infographics, and other graphics are getting more attention from Google. No one prefers to read thousand words of content, while they can easily watch it on a video of one or two minutes.
Very soon normal content will be taken over by videos, it might be a probability that vlogs will take over blogs soon, but I don’t think it should happen in near future. Importance of content and blogs will remain same in coming days as well, reasons being not all are being able to access videos easily on their network, so popularity of video blogs will take long to spread out.
But still from SEO point of view you should implement videos, graphics, etc. on your content, so that it can become more attractive and engaging.
Keyword rich contents are not a guarantee of reaching to the top ranking on Google anymore. Gone are the days when people use to rely on keyword density.
What I normally suggest to my clients is that naturally written content are far better than contents which has considerations about keywords. Inserting keywords in content is not a good thing anymore. Try to prepare content naturally and focus on long tail keywords and local searches. It will give you the better results.
It is one of the biggest misconceptions in SEO industry that SEO is all about line of codes, content, and links only. Those days are gone. Now SEO is far more than these things.
SEO now is about how a blog or website should look appealing to its readers. It is all about providing the best user satisfaction. It includes checking site loading time, bounce rates, navigations, managing proper and readable fonts, blocked pages on your site, robots.txt file, sitemaps, errors on your site, outbound links, broken links, incoming links quality and quantity, social media presence of the site, reputation management for the site, and many more such things. To ensure you cover all these aspects effectively, consider consulting with a SEO company like the Canadian SEO Company.
There was a time when sites with mediocre content and tons of backlinks, and good on-page optimization used to rank well in Google and other search engines. Now having good ranking will also not guarantee you huge traffics. You need to check why your site has better rankings, but still site is not getting fare traffic?
You also need to focus on writing compelling Meta Tags for your site which can force a user to click on your results. So ultimately SEO is really far more than links, content and codes.
So these were 5 SEO tactics are there which you should know the reality about them. It might be possible that either you or an SEO hired by you for your website are running towards any of them or the SEO person hired by you might be suggesting something about these points. In that case too you need to understand these points in a better way so that you can discuss the same with them. Please do let me know your response about these, you can even ask your queries related to these points.
