Do All Your Blogs Sounds the Same?

Redundancy is something which we all hate. If you are repeating the same things again and again on your blog, one day your readers will definitely say “Not Again”. Read on this blog post of mine on do all your blogs sounds the same and it’s side effect.

Well let me ask you a very simple question. If you are a blogger and successfully runs a blog, do all of your blog posts stand out in their own way or your readers be able to differentiate a post from other posts being written by you only?

Do all your blogs sound the same?

Do All Your Blogs Sounds the Same?

Do All Your Blogs Sounds the Same?

I may not mean that you are repeating a common points in most of your blog, that is quite genuine, but then if you are writing all the blog posts with almost similar types of posts?

Let me give you an example. I usually emphasize on having a self hosted WordPress blog. It might come in almost all the posts on blogging tips category, there is no harm in mentioning this tip in almost all the posts in which I share some blogging tips. But then does it means that all my blog posts on blogging tips category will have the same things?

Actually emphasizing important ideas or tips is a nice thing, but then sticking to same types of content on all the blog posts is not at all a good idea.

Are you a Copy-Cat Blogger?

I am not saying that you do copy-cat types of blogging from some other blogger. I am asking for those bloggers who usually write similar things on their blog, means copy and paste types of stuff from their own blogs.

In a way to become unique and memorable to their users sometimes bloggers do the mistake of repeating things. This is something which I want to point out in this blog post.

If you are going to a restaurant and eating the same recipes from the same chef again and again, one day will come when you might say that enough is enough, I am not going to eat the same things again and might change the restaurant too. You might not even recommend the same restaurant to any of your friends, no matter how tasty foods are available there.

See, the so called restaurants might have so many varieties, but since you started eating the same things again and again, and thus became bored of the restaurant only. Similarly if you are a blogger and have varieties of options on your blog, but what will happen if your readers start reading the same types of post again and again?

What will happen when a reader will find similar types of topics, tone and content on all your blog posts which they will encounter?

No matter how good blogger you are they will never land to your site and never ever recommend it to others as well.

Unwilling Repetitiveness of Blogs

This is something on which I decided to write this blog. Honestly mostly bloggers becomes an unwilling repetitive blogger and this is harmful for their blog.

You might ask me how can I find out if I am a repetitive blogger or not?

Well there are few things considering which you might come out of this situation. Here are a few points:

Same Things Over and Over

Let me ask you something about my blog. Do I write about same things over and over?

Well, considering the fact that I News India or rather Tech Acid as well are a general blog and can include posts on almost all topics (Tech Acid might have posts related to any technological things, but then also there are so many topics for it), but consider about blogs on a single niche. Let’s say you are a blogger who writes on Twitter tips.

Obviously all your blog posts should be and will be on the same things, twitter.

You might say that if I do write 10 posts related to twitter, all of them might seems same to the readers?

No deny from this fact, but then being a blogger it is your quality to present them in different possible, interesting and obviously unique way.

You might remember that a few days back I posted a blog on how to become a smart worker, honestly that topic was already covered by me a few months back, and since I was not aware about it, I don’t have any hesitation in accepting the fact that it becomes the similar stuff to the post on the same topic.

You might ask me how? You might be considering my new post as a nicely written posts compared to the last one. But the fact is quite different. If you read both of them carefully, you will realize that I almost used similar types of points in both of them.

As I said that such mistakes are unintentional or unwilling mistakes, but yes the reader who already read it earlier might consider me as a repetitive blogger.

So the tip is that if you already have written something on a particular topic and decided to write something on the same topics, then you should present the same in a new and better way.

Similar Ending

I guess this is the point on which you might once again blame me for being a repetitive blogger. Honestly do you think I too close all my posts on a similar note?

If you think so you might call me a repetitive blogger, if not then I am not the one 🙂

Being a blogger if you too realize that the ending of your blog posts are almost similar then it might hurt your reputation as a blogger. It is indeed true that you should not ask your readers to leave their response in the form of comments on your blog in almost every blog posts which you publish, like I normally do. Instead try to finish a blog in some other ways.

You can instead ask the feedback from the readers in some other way in between the posts only and conclude the blog in a different way.

Tip which I can give is to try to ask questions from your readers in the posts only which might compel them to write comments on your blog.

Don’t use Similar Topics

Try to grab different types of titles and topics for your blogs. It is a common thing if you like the fragrance of a particular thing and smells the same things again and again, one day you might also irritate from it. Not because you don’t like this fragrance any more, but since it is repeating everyday you might get bored of it.

Tip which I can give is to choose varieties of issues related to your field and try to make different unique posts from them.

Conclusion

Try to be unique in all your blog posts, though you might touch the same types of things, but in together each blog posts of your should have some different value addition to your readers life. Try to make your blog posts in a way that it should reflect your knowledge, plus it should also have your unique presentation which can help it to become a unique post.

Try to present things in a different manner and I have no doubt that you will be remembered as a great blogger by your readers. And as I said already that I won’t ask for your comments or feedback on this blog, I will follow the same over here 🙂

Do let me know if I am boring you with my similar types of stuffs?
