Snapdeal Vs. Flipkart!
Two big names of Indian ecommerce industry are Flipkart and Snapdeal. Both of them are slowly-slowly building their brand over Indian market. Read on this blog on SnapDeal VS. Flipkart to know which one is better for you.
Do you remember the post which I shared a few days back on the war of online shopping in India? It is indeed true that a war is really going between the ecommerce giants like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, etc. To be very frank here in this post I am going to compare the top two brands only i.e. Flipkart and Snapdeal. Honestly they two have shadowed the companies like Jabong, Myntra, etc.
Let me compare the things based on some features of an ecommerce website:
The first thing which you need while you decided to purchase something is the reliability of the site from where you are thinking to purchase. If you don’t find a website reliable enough, you normally ignore placing an order over there.
If we won’t discuss about the Big Billion days experience of Flipkart, then I must say that Flipkart has an upper hand as far as reliability is concerned from Snapdeal. Recently the news of men orders smartphone and gets bar of soap and stone inside was in hot discussion in social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. You can read more about the big Snapdeal screw up over here.
This is the reason why I always trust on Flipkart as I did not hear any such incident about them.
Let me discuss about the Big Billion day experience over here. Certainly it was the day which pulled the reputation and all the hard works of Flipkart in a single day. But if you discard that day, you will find that they will have an upper hand or edge over Snapdeal in this regard as well.
Certainly Snapdeal took the benefits of the failure of Flipkart on the big billion days, but still it will take long to them for becoming the number one brand in ecommerce in India.
Now this is a field in which I can say both of them are competing to each other. Both of them are offering some great discounts to Indian consumers which are actually creating tension among offline stores. The hot topic of discussion a few days back was how much discount an ecommerce site can give to its customers.
It is undoubtedly true that the Bansal brothers Flipkart and Bahl-Bansal’s Snapdeal are offering huge discounts to its customer base. It is something which is actually giving the best benefits to the consumers.
It is indeed true that the fight between the two companies Flipkart and Snapdeal is ultimately giving the benefits to the end user only. The best thing which can attract any customer is the lucrative offers which both of them give in the form of Flipkart coupons and Snapdeal coupons. The user simply needs to find the best deal from their budget and get a discount by using those coupons.
I hope my readers will definitely share their opinion about both of these ecommerce giants. It will help us to elaborate the discussion further based on the real life experiences. Honestly my personal opinion is that Flipkart is having an edge over Snapdeal, but I would be glad to hear other’s opinion on the same. You can share your experiences in the form of comment below.
Hi bro,
I think Flipkart still have an upper hand over snapdeal. Apart from the bigbillionday Flipkart also tasted such experiences to their customers by sending wooden plank instead of Moto G once. If there is any hope getting it replaced with right product, I believe Flipkart can do it quick and better. If it is about trust, Flipkart is better, as there is atleast hope that the product will be replaced. That doesn’t mean that snap deal don’t replace, but is not as reliable as flipkart.
Very good comparison by the way. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely agree with you Sasidhar bro. Flipkart has better customer care compared to any other ecommerce company be it Snapdeal or Ebay.. But yes as far as the best customer care is concerned it is of Amazon. Though comparing Snapdeal and Flipkart, FK has better reliability than SD. 🙂 Thanks bro for your comment and support.
