Correct Approach Towards Becoming an Authority Blogger!
A few days back I blogged about how to become an authority blogger. I mentioned the first requirement for becoming an authority blogger as the correct approach. Read on this blog post of mine on the correct approach towards becoming an authority blogger.
As one of my blogger friend Ravish Mani mentioned on that blog on how to become an authority blogger:
I completely agree with you, Alok. It’d be a great help if you explain the correct approach a little more in a separate article 🙂
So here comes my blog on how correct approach can help you to become an authority blogger.
When I said correct approach is the best thing required for establishing yourself as an expert or authority blogger, it simply means the way how you blog about. If it is not a positive way it certainly won’t go to establish yourself as an authority of pro blogger.
Let me explain the same. We all do blog for some different reasons. Some people blog for earning some extra money. Some people blog to gain popularity. Some people blog to make name and fame. No matters for whatsoever reason we do blog, but the purpose of blogging is to sharing the knowledge.
To share the knowledge which you have with your readers, you need a systematic approach and planning. You need to understand how easily you can be able to share your knowledge with your readers. Let me give you a direct example.
I am an SEO by profession. So when I thought to blog about SEO, I thought myself as a layman who doesn’t even know what exactly is SEO? And hence I do plan and share the blog posts on SEO Tips which can help the readers of my blog to understand the concept in a stepwise manner.
Similarly when I write something on blogging tips, I always try to explain it in the manner so that my readers can easily understand the same.
So, here are some points which can help us to understand the correct approach required for establishing yourself as an authority blogger.
The first thing which is very much required for establishing a person as an expert is that they should start from the very beginning. Whenever you share something, try to understand the fact that the reader might not be aware of all those technicalities required with your expertise. So for them the post which you just now shared might go over the head.
Although on the other hand it is not necessary to put all the information’s repeatedly on all the posts. You can easily create separate posts with those information’s and link them on wherever those information’s are required on a new post.
Understand this from the Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concept. Those who know about it must have understood how they can call an object whenever required on a new program as well, despite writing all the codes wherever it is required all the time.
OOP is a concept in which we define objects which has all the (required ones) data fields and can be used at anywhere in the program, whenever they are required to do a set of functions. Those who has the knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, Java, etc. must be aware of it. Those who don’t know about it can also check Wiki for this: Object-oriented programming
So, my dear friends blogging is also a type of programming, you need to make it from the beginning and plan it accordingly so that you should not write all the same things again and again, instead you can call them whenever it is required. This is known as the correct approach.
Plan your blog posts in advance, so that it can generate the interest among your readers. They can also be able to feel associated with your blog if you present them in a systematic manner. If you won’t provide information’s in a stepwise manner, readers might feel distracted from your blog.
So the correct approach of blogging in an expert’s manner is to start from the very beginning and plan the posts in a systematic manner.
It is not necessarily required that you should give all the information’s in a single post. Try to give information on a systematic manner so that the user also came to know about them in a systematic way. After all, these things will help the readers to stay associated with your posts and will make them your loyal visitors as well, who will return to your blog regularly to read your posts.
Try to update your blog on a regular basis. This is the mistake which I am continuously doing for my other blogs like Tech Acid, etc. I normally trying my best to blog at I News India on a daily basis, but then to fulfill that I am not getting the times for other blogs of mine.
But if you want to establish yourself as an experienced and authority blogger then you need to update your blog on a regular interval. Make a schedule for your blog posts and strictly remain associated with the same.
While writing blog posts, a positive frame of mind is very much required. If you are encouraging your readers to upgrade their life, knowledge, etc. then you are on the right track, but if you are trying to spread out your negativity with your readers then it is a wrong approach.
Try to give some WOW moments to your readers, so that they can be able to associate themselves with your blogs.
As I said already that blogging is not only about writing blogs it is much more than that. Building relationships comes as the most essential things for the correct approach. Many blogger do this mistake of ignoring the comments on their blog, or mentions on social media sites where someone praises your blog or say good things about you or your blog.
I would always suggest bloggers to respond to those positive things, as this will make their readers happy.
Always remember one thing, don’t try to sell anything directly to your readers else they might get annoyed of it. Keep this as one of the most essential things to remember while doing blogging.
So I guess Ravish I have been able to resolve your query about correct approach through this blog post. Please do share your opinion about this blog post.
Please do let me know if you liked this blog post of mine or not? You can also share any query which you want to discuss with us or any suggestion for a new post on my blog.
Dear Alok
Thanks for this wonderful detailed information on correct approach towards becoming an authority blogger. Start from beginning, having proper planning, systematic delivery of information using Oops concept – very useful tips. And among them, the most important is not selling directly that you always follow.
Thanks for another gem of Blogopedia.
Have a nice day 🙂
Awesome Ravish, I was seriously tensed about this blog post, as I was too hectically busy these days and I was not in a condition to write something good, but still I came up with this. And am too glad that you liked it. 🙂
I love the last tip Alok, It is all about building relationships :). And the ideas about planning the posts, using the layman language to connect to the readers, starting from the beginning are very very valid and they make the connection so much easier and relatable to the audience. And once the audience are connected, they keep coming back for more which I believe is really a great way of marketing for the site 🙂
You are absolutely right Vinay 🙂 Thank you so much for elaborating the point and that too in such a simple language 🙂
That was some excellent follow up post. Start from the beginning is an essential in Technical Blogging because tech retards like me will lose interest if too much of a tech jargon is filled. Building Relationships really requires patience and ingenuity.
Thank you so much Datta, I am glad that you liked this blog post 🙂
Very useful information Alok. The detailing you have mentioned were well refined and intricate. Thank you for sharing such an informative post in blogosphere.
Thank you so much Gowthama, I am glad that you visited my blog and liked it. 🙂 Thanks for all your support.
Sometimes, we forget we write for humans, not for search bots. And no matter of your blog traffic, I think building relationship with your reader is the most important thing. Because if you don’t have that relationship, you are not going to survive in long run.
Absolutely Hemu, this is the reason why I always say that write the things which your readers want to read, not for search engines sake. And building relationships is the backbone of blogging dear friend. Thank you so much Hemu, for your visit, comment and appreciation.
Alok Bhai sahab have registered your site adbloggiri and hamarivani where you can get some extra traffic
