Yes Alok, I’m quite agree with you on the need of SEO expert for large portals. But confuse at the same time regarding the role of SEO expert in context of blogs. I mean, in blogging, content is the king and content is written by blog author… what role will SEO expert play here? Will he edit one’s article in accordance with SEO norms such as h tags, alt tags, or replace author’s phrase with keyword rich phrases or suggest killer titles? Please put light on his role in context of bloggers like us. 🙂

Dear Ravish, for personal blog, the blogger should understand these basic things and implement the same. This is what I am trying to let bloggers know through my blog posts. Though if a blogger hire an SEO consultant like me, the responsibility of mine would be to suggest the best ways to gain more search engine visibility, but not to make content for the blogger.
But yes, those edits which you mentioned are very much required and an SEO guy can easily suggest the best options for the blogger.

Awesome one Alok! You really have made me think about the seo and the design front and I am really happy with the changes in my site so far. Hopefully sometime soon, I will be able to go for the professional help in this regard :).
A good news is that I have started getting visitors from the search engines these days and that somehow has been getting me the highest number of visitors as opposed to from indiblogger or other sites which is a really nice feeling ::). All thanks to you 🙂
