Revenge of Humiliation – My First Fictional Work in Drenched Souls!
Those who are connected with me either on Facebook or on Twitter are aware of one of my recent post of my Author Bio for the upcoming anthology Drenched Souls (Moonlit Matinee 2). Let me tell you all about Revenge of Humiliation which is my first fictional work in Drenched Souls.
Those who know me are aware that I am an SEO by profession and a Blogger by passion. I also have published one book on the technical aspect of Guest Blogging, how to do it properly and why anybody can do blogging but not guest blogging. Publishing an e-book is quite easy these days, but unless and until you have a paperback book by your name, no one is going to consider you as a writer, especially in India.
Hence I was planning to work on my second book and since I was weak in fictional writing, I was not really getting the courage to write anything. Fortunately many good friends advised me to write on fictional as well, the reason being they all were impressed by my non-fictional writing and hence they were thinking I can even write fictional works as well.
Those friends include Jyoti Kapoor from www.nribride.com and Harshita Srivastava (our own author from I News India) of harshitasrivastava.blogspot.in who already has published two books One in A Million, and Bad Romance and an anthology Moonlit Matinee, and edited so many books.
These two friends of mine played a crucial role in appreciating me to write fictions as well.
Meanwhile Gargi Publishers announced this short story competition for their upcoming anthology Drenched Souls, and inspired by others I too decided to participate in the competition. Honestly I tried writing around five stories for it. Though just before the last day of the submission I was not sure about any of them to be sent to them.
Finally after much consideration I decided to write yet another story only, which coincidently resembled with one my much closed friends and I titled it as Revenge of Humiliation. Though the focus of the story is not much on the revenge part as the book is based on Romance in Monsoon theme, so I revolved the story around the drenched souls only 🙂
The book is in publication stage and its pre-booking has started at some online stores like Home Shop 18, InfiBeam, etc. It will be going to release on 1st October.
Hope all the readers of mine will definitely book a copy of this book Drenched Souls and will love reading my story which is based on the mix of love and revenge of humiliation. You can book your copy from these places:

So many people ask this question to me. After all why I do love writing, or why do I blog? Many people ask me why I selected blogging or writing as a profession. Though honestly, neither blogging, nor writing is my profession so far, I am a full time Search Engine Optimizer and quite happy with my 9 to 6 job.
Though no one knows the future, and I cannot say if one day I cannot be a full time blogger and writer.
Let me tell you all about why I started writing, though I did not shared this with anyone so far. As I normally say that it is my passion and hence I do write or blog, but to be very frank why it became my passion is not known to many others.
I do love sharing my knowledge about the fields in which I am working to the world. Do you know why?
Let me ask you, how many people in this world know you? How many people even from your society or colony where you reside, or from your workplace where you work, know you by your name and face? Honestly, we are not a superstar. We are a common people and mostly not even known by girl or boy sitting on next workstation at our office. Am I wrong?
No I am not, 10-20 of our friends, and almost 20-30 of our relatives know us. Include a few names of our colleagues. And this was the situation when I thought to do something which can help me to have my identity, an identity through which many people will know me.
This was the main reason why I started writing blog, and sharing my own little knowledge with the world. Definitely it gives me an identity. To be very frank, when I came to know that there are many bloggers from the IndiBlogger community who were searching for a blogger who has a sketch as profile picture, it certainly give me the satisfaction that many people are getting benefits from the little knowledge which I have.
Hope the world should come to know about a new Alok Vats through my books. I am working on a fictional book and a non-fictional one as well. Very soon I will publish both the books. I am sure the readers of my blog will always be there with me throughout my journey of writing and blogging.
So those were the all about my passion of writing and blogging and about my first fictional book. Though you can also purchase my book on guest blogging through these links:
