This is a beautiful one Alok. The idea of relationship building is centric to anything we work on, may it be a business or a much naiver initiative like a blog. I completely agree with you on the line of trying to solve your readers problems, being someone who your readers will look up to, having conversation with them. I understand what you mean by people not replying to comments. I think it is highly unfair if some people dont reply to their comments on the blog. People have read it and taken the effort of actually writing something in return. If we dont honor our readers and dont show how appreciated they are, we run the risk of losing on some fantastic relationships that can develop ๐ .
Lovely post Alok, it truly brings out your love on blogging ๐

Thank you so much Vinay ๐ I am glad that you liked this blog post of mine. It is very much true that blogging is not simple writing and sharing your opinion, but it is a way to connect with your readers and be a guide to them. ๐

Alok, you’ve just condensed the secret in one word and that is RELATIONSHIP. It is the only way of success in any field as also acknowledged by Vinay. Thanks for presenting such pin-pointed objective to focus upon in order to lead a happy & proudful life.

Thank you so much Ravish, I am glad that you liked it. Honestly I guess this is the only and the major differences between blogging and writing, through blogging we usually build and manager relationships with our readers, while on the other hand with writing we simply make a relationship with our readers. ๐

This is a post which covers all the aspect of the topics.Your points are right. But what if the blog is personal (like mine). I cannot help through my blog post much. I am waiting for the post on blogspot to wordpress domain. Need I say a great post once again? ๐

Who told you Datta that you cannot help people through your blog post? Honestly speaking your blog posts has higher capacity than mine to touch hearts and establish relationships. To be very frank the idea of helping people is not only through sharing the so called technical blog posts which I usually do, but it is also about healing people from your words, providing them a space where they can get relief, is not it?
Thank you so much Datta for saying it a great post once again ๐

i have been reading your posts and find them interesting. firstly, let me thank you for the advice and guidance you keep providing regularly .i am only posting my stories and poems on my two blogs (www.obliqview.blogspot.in, i have started recently and is yet to be approved by indiblogger)? do you think that these can be successful since neither blog attempts to solve problems?

Sincerely shared, as usual, Alok.

Dear I B Arora, thank you so much for sharing your comments with us, unfortunately it landed to the Spam page and I became late in responding to them. As I said Datta Ghosh as well, that poems and stories are a better way to connect and resolve the problems of users. You know what we all are looking for some piece, and we can definitely get it through poems and stories. In fact you had a better chance to touch the heart of your readers than us ๐
Hope it will further inspire you to write more poems and stories ๐

Nothing satisfies us more that a happy smile…well said. And I totally agree with all the points you’ve mentioned….as I have said earlier…to me , the greatest virtue of blogging is the interaction with so many people who ( at least some of them ) eventually become friends… ๐
Nice and a straight-from-the-heart post Alok… ๐-
Thank you so much Maniparna. This is truly a great feeling ๐

I too believe that building a relationship with readers is important…it’s not just about the accuracy in english or tons of wisdom and knowledge… I find it quiet stupid when some bloggers don’t respond to the comments i or any other reader has made. The reason I keep visiting inews india is that i know that at least, someone is going to respond to my comments!!! ๐

Thank you so much Shahen, I am glad that you liked my blog I News India so much. Yes I always try to respond to each and every comments which my blog receive. Though sometimes I became late in responding, but then I always try to respond.
After all you are an example of the success of the relationship building efforts of I News India. Relationship building with your readers is very much required in case of a blog. In my opinion the success of a blog can be measured by the satisfaction which it gives to its readers. ๐
