Very true Alok, I think it is a lovely journey knowing and writing and interacting with people. Although sometimes we do write about the same ideas and points, it is all different with the interpretation and views which makes it even more fulfilling an experience to learn from :)..
I have fallen in love with blogging and the past 5-6 months have been fascinating to say the least. And it has proved to be lots more fun with time 🙂
Thank you so much Vinay. The day when I first read your blogs, I instantly realized that you are passionate about it, and hence I started talking and inspiring you to make things proper. It will be fun buddy, the moment you started enjoying it, it automatically become fun for you 🙂
Very good guidelines. I have learned a lot of good things after joining the blog of Shri Alok Vats, for which I thank him.
Thank you so much Sampat Kumari jee 🙂
Very true Alok :). Thanks so much for the kind words, I really love this subject of personality development, makes life a lot fulfilling each time I think about it. Thank you for the inspiration throughout.. It has made a lot of changes in my site and very eagerly looking forward for more 🙂
You are most welcome Vinay. Honestly there are a few bloggers on IB whom I actually love so much. You being one of them. The day when I first met you, I don’t remember the details about our first meeting, but then I realized you had a potential to become a great blogger. That is the reason why I always suggested you something and something, and the main reason was that you were actually hearing what I was trying to say you.
Thank you so much for hearing my words, I want to see you people on the tops of the world. Honestly on the day of Independence day I want to share that this is my way to strengthen my India, and I would love to make a good bunch of top bloggers of the world from India.
Yes Alok, I do see, most bloggers just post their article link on social media especially twitter. It just become a bulletin board of links. I mean why would someone bother to follow them. People go these sites for social interaction.
Replying to every comments….. How many do subscribe comments? I think most don’t like their mails to be filled with notification of comments. Suppose, one reads 40 blogs in a day and comments on 20. And each blog receive an average of 10 comments then add 10 from the author as reply to each comment. It becomes 20. Now no. of notifications 20 X 20 = 400. Imagine 400 notification mail each day.
The case is quite good with Disqus and Google plus. They only give notification for comment reply not the entire comments on the blog post.
Truly said Ravish, people should not always share their links only. For this purpose you can create a separate account like I did for I News India I have a twitter account @inewsindia through which I normally tweet the new blog posts only. Though I don’t prefer automatic tweeting, as it won’t give you the best of the feelings. But then if someone interacts through INI account too I try to interact with them. On the other hand I do sometimes share my blog through my personal account @vatsalok too, but then it is more inclined towards interacting with followers.
You are right about comment subscription and Disqus and G+, but my opinion about it is a bit different, I do believe in providing the most simplest option for sharing their opinion. Those who would love your website will anyhow subscribe or look for new comments, like you do subscribe on comments on my blog, but Vinay don’t, but then he never missed any comments on my blog too 🙂 He visits my site on a regular basis and check the comments.
Thanks Alok for an impressive idea. The best thing is: I’ve already implementing it. I’ve a separate twitter handle @successfulbeing where I post my links and quotes. I love to interact with you. Keep sharing engaging articles!
Wonderful Ravish 🙂 Thank you so much for inspiring me to write further 🙂
Thank you Alok.. I am a little lazy on my site sometimes and the filter treats all wordpress comments as a spam. So I usually stay away from comment subscription :)..
As for the comments and posts and ideas, I think the genuine people always are in support for us.. It feels good that way. I always am very keen on a few people who comment on my site like you, Ravish, Kokila, Ruchi, Najm, Krishna, Vidhya, Priyashi, Datta, Abhijit, Maniparna, Nethra and many other such lovely people cos I know its their genuine feeling and it is something we are relating on, discussing and exchanging ideas about.. Feels really good that way 🙂
Thank you so much Vinay. You are right about comments. Truly it feels really good 🙂
Thank you Alok, your suggestions have always been very valid and to the point and something which I can work on right away. It feels good to know that I can always have someone to bank on and look over my shoulder to guide me through the process. It has been a fascinating journey and I do owe a lot of those developments to you. It has been really lovely following on them, trying to think laterally and realize that there is so much to the world of blogging.. I feel proud to be a part of it and being mentioned in discussions here is another kind of a HIGH indeed 🙂
Thank you so much Vinay 🙂 It really means a lot to me.
I think it’s better to visit a site regularly for comments after installing Alexa plugin than subscribing its comments.
Well Alok, it’s working like a magic pill. Here’s my truly technical comment. It’s said that good circle induces good things in you. Thanks for being around.
very true Ravish. 🙂 I am always there for you 🙂
Hi Alok,
It’s me again!
Self promotion is not really that wrong thing to do (^_^) Think you made a rocking blog and never did promotion. How would anyone know even it exists?
Most of the people follow the bloggers on Social media for staying updated with their content. And about that ratio: I prefer
5-3-2
Other content-Self Promotion-Personal
for use in social media.
BTW Nice write up! I like your topics 🙂
Thank you so much Suvin, I am glad that you shared your opinion about it. Self promotion is not that much bad, but then your account should not look alike you are only doing self promotion, this is harmful and this is exactly which I mentioned in my blog post too 🙂
Sound advice.
Thank you so much Matheikal sir 🙂
