And as for the question whether you are a serious blogger, well there is not an iota of doubt in that.. One of the reasons I enjoy commenting on your posts is the amount of seriousness and the effort they come with. Feels really good to be commenting on such posts 🙂 .
For the points you have shared, they are perfect. I experienced similar ones
1) About a book review which I declined since it was very much away from my domain
2) About sharing from my social indiblogger profile which I again declined cos I really didn’t want myself to be associated with anything but inspire99Professional approach does make a huge difference. It adds to that credibility and reliability as well which is so amiss in the real world today!

Hello Alok. Great Post 🙂 . According to me Freelancing is the best option to earn money from your blog If you are good at something technical and want to earn while staying back at home and working on projects, freelancing is an option for you.

Yes Minakshi, You said it absolutely right. If you are good at something then you can seriously earn from it, but the thing which matters a lot is you are taking works but unable to deliver it on time because of time constraint is also not good. So what I can suggest people is take freelance works, only if you have the time to complete it on time.

I really don’t understand the economics behind blogging, i simply write for the passion of writing but your blog post has really made me think again.

As far as economics behind blogging is concerned, after all we do write for the passion of writing only, but then there should not be any harm in earning from the same passion too. I am not saying about earning money only, but a blogger can seriously earn many things more than money from blogging. 🙂

Second of all, (A little too honest here) I actually did not know that blogs are considered as a source of income up until last week when a serious blogger whom I became friends with shared with me! With this read of yours I now have started to have believe that one makes a substantial source of income out of this…..WOW! well….it’s a lot of information to fathom and I am still trying to understand – How is all this possible ? (That’s how naive I am you see )…You must be think what an ameture…but honestly I just want to say thanks for detailing this. Not that I am looking forward to make a career out of this…but I am glad now I understand it better 🙂 Thank you so much for revealing the open secret 🙂-

Yes Anita, I am doing well, but the health of my wife and daughter is a bit of concern for me at the moment. You said it right that it all started because of the season change only. Hope they will be fine soon.
