Nice one Alok :).. I am still struggling with the search engines, hopefully they will pick up with time.. I agree, chasing a girl and getting a response is a lot easier than the search engine love 😀 😀 ..
Social sites and guest blogging have worked well though, trying to push in the twitter and quora front for more..

Ha ha Vinay, some girls are really impossible to get any response, they need to be chased for a long-long time 🙂 🙂 Google is that girl only. Buddy try to be a handsome guy, in front of Google, else she won’t love you. I know you are a good guy, I mean your blog, but then if Google is not giving her love to you, it simply means that she is not liking you at all.
Best of luck for all your efforts. 🙂 and yes try to do something unique which can bring you in the eyes of the girl whom you are chasing, I mean Google.

No doubt,organic traffic is the best and free source to get visitors to your blog among all the sources along with paid traffic. But it needs consistent effort,however Social media,forum posting and blog commenting are also the sources of great traffic.

Thanks a lot Suvin, blog commenting is obviously a good way to bring traffic, I could also have included that, but then if you cannot do it properly, ultimately you will lose all the traffics. No hard feelings about you, but the way you did it made me suspicious about your intention, as you shared a link hidden by bit.ly something which can surely tell the webmaster that something is hidden behind the link and hence forced me to remove it.
So the basics of blog commenting is that it should not be suspicious, and hence can damage the reputation of your website too.
I hope you can understand what I wanted to convey through it. Thank you so much for the appreciation and comment over here 🙂

These are very important points from the POV of a blogger.And essential too.
But I think you have left out few points.
1: The trend to increase pageviews & SEO is to get backlinks isn’t it? Surprised to see that it was not here.
2: Also, Speed of Page loads. People tend to back out from pages that load slow. Considering that you are a WordPress User, it is shocking to see the omission of CDN servers like Cloudflare.

Valid point Arjun, although as far as backlinks are concerned, in my opinion, it is not required, as if you ask me then I would say no one should give any effort in developing backlinks, instead they should try to earn it from others, and it can be possible with the great quality content on the site.
Second thing, will surely look for the link which you shared over here. Speed is truly a considerable thing.
