Do you know the ways through which you can get traffic to your blog or website?
Honestly, I will say yes, you do all know about the ways how you can get traffic to your blog or website. But, still it might be possible that you were either missing something, or not doing it properly, that is the reason why you were lacking somewhere in achieving your target.
To be very frank, I too did some mistakes in my blogging journey, we all do some mistakes in our life, after all we are human beings and we are bound to do mistakes. But then the real winners are those who learn lessons from those mistakes and try not to repeat them in future.
I too tried learning lessons from my mistakes which I did in the past and still suffering because of those and this is the reason why I always wanted to share those things which can benefit and helps others.
So as I already said that you all know most of the things about how to get traffic or visitors to your blog or website, but still I want to summarize them in my own way. And here are those:
Ideally traffic from search engines is the best way to get traffic on your website or blog. Do you know why?
If you don’t know the reasons, then don’t worry about it, I will let you know the reasons.
One of the main reasons why we bloggers like traffic from search engines is that since they were looking for the same things, hence they are the targeted audience you were looking for. What can be more rewarding than getting targeted traffic to your website?
Another reasons why the world loves traffic from search engines, is that it is free and huge. You can get it without doing any expenses, unless you are hiring an SEO like me to do the optimization for your website or blog, and it will ever increasing only. In normal cases it should not fall badly, unless you do something big mistake or blackhat things.
But then, getting love from search engines is difficult than getting love from the girl whom you were chasing since last few years. Coming up on the page one of Google or any other search engine is not something that can happen in a day or within a month too. It needs time and continuous efforts.
Mind the fact that the moment you planned to launch any website or blog, SEO needs the attention from the same day. The moment you are thinking about the domain name for your future venture, you are already doing the SEO of your new website.
The moment you are preparing content for your new website, you are doing the SEO of your website.

Uses of social sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. are increasing in our daily life. You cannot expect a blog or website without having its presence on these social sites now.
If your blog or website has no presence on sites like FB, Twitter, Google+, etc. then you are actually missing a great proportion of traffic which might come from those sites.
Honestly these days search engines are also giving too much emphasis on social signals of your site. So your presence and activities on these sites will also have the influence on bringing traffic to your website through search engines. This being yet another reasons why you cannot ignore these social sites.
Those who don’t have presence on these sites should at least need to have a twitter account, a Facebook page for their blog and a Google+ page for their blog. You also need a Google account for creating this Google+ page, and you can establish your authorship with the same account as well. Please mind it that you will start getting traffic from these sites only if your content are of good quality and you have so many fans and followers on those sites. Which again is not going to possible overnight, you need to invest lots of time and efforts on these sites.
After all you can think about paid traffics, if you do have the budget, and don’t want to invest your time and efforts on above two options. It is quite simple, as you can advertize to get traffic on your site.
You can simply invest money on Facebook ads, or Google Adwords, or LinkedIn direct ads, Yahoo or Bing ads, etc. and start getting traffic instantly.
The more you have the capability to invest the more will be the number of visitors to your website or blog.
Obviously if you do have a blog on your website, or you are running a pure blog only, you might also consider blogger community sites like IndiBlogger, to attract traffic towards your blog. Obviously traffic from these community sites will be all webmasters only, who will definitely understand the efforts which you put on your blog, so traffic from such community sites will give you the best satisfaction for your hard work.
Try to give whatever best you can give to those communities and start getting traffic to your blog from there.
Though many blog owners prefer email marketing as yet another way to attract traffic, though I am not a big supporter of the same. Some bloggers consider it as one of the best and free methods to get regular traffic, but then my opinion about it is a bit different and I don’t prefer using them.
