I guess we all want to improve ourselves. We all want to enhance ourselves, improve our inner self and inspire others. Read on this blog post of mine to know these five tips on self improvement.

I guess during last few days I was so hectically busy with writing on SEO tips and blogging tips stuffs that I almost forget about self improvement, for which I developed this blog I News India. Although I was sharing a few posts on self improvement things in between as well.

But then I was planning about sharing a blog post which will have something which I never discussed either on this blog or any other blog which I manage. And hence I decided to come up with five tips on self improvement which can help you to enhance, improve and inspire.

Here are those stuffs which can give you the strength to go ahead with self improvement:

Your Health 

We know that health is wealth, and without proper health you cannot think about improving yourself. So the very basic thing which is required for the self improvement is your good health.

It is your duty to maintain good health for the sake of your own life and the betterment of the lives of those who are dependent on you. You all know that I am a diabetic patient. But still I try to maintain my health for the same of the smiles on the faces of my wife and my little angel.

If you want to improve yourself, the first thing which you need is to evaluate your health, and focus how you can rectify if it has some concerns. Don’t be worried from your health conditions. Try to do some regular exercise and maintain the BMI index.

Try to evaluate what are you eating? Try to mix fresh fruits, vegetables, milk products, non-vegetarian items, salads, etc. in your diet. Ideally you should develop a habit of eating everything, but in a limit. It should not be like that if you loves eating chocolates, then you should eat chocolates all the time. Rather you can eat chocolates once in a week or fortnight. Similarly you can eat ice creams, sweets, etc. once in a week or fortnight or on a monthly basis as well.

Your Stress Level 

As you are responsible for your health, you are also responsible for maintaining your stress level. Ideally you should not take any stress, but practically it is not possible to take zero stress in our life.

If you really want to improve yourself, then learn the art of managing and controlling your stress level. Try to differentiate your professional and personal life. Do not ever mix the tensions of your work place with the tensions of your personal life.

A few days back suggested one sister of mine to leave behind all the tensions of office into the office only. It will definitely help others as well.

Whenever you come out of your work place, try to leave behind all the tensions of your work area and plan to enjoy your time with your family.

Learn the arts like meditation, yoga, massage, prayers, etc. through which you can get rid of stresses. Else you can also read books (also check 10 benefits of reading) or listen music to relax you.

Your Presentation 

How you present yourself to this world matters a lot in your own self improvement. Your hairstyle, your makeup, your dressing, all these things actually do impact highly on your personality and mood.

For women and girls these things matters a lot, but for guys as well these things plays an important role.

Try to have some facial, face massage, skin care, makeup, etc. and feel the change inside you. I am not saying to devote so much time on these things, but then you should be fairly presentable to this world.

It will help you to improve a lot.

Your Mentor 

As your health, your stress level and your presentation matters in self improvement of yours, similarly your mentor also plays a vital role in the improvement of yourself.

A good mentor will always appreciate you and help you to advance in your life and career. Thus you can truly understand the important role which a mentor plays in your life.

One thing which you need to carefully understand over here is that you need to be cautious while choosing your mentor. A wrong decision or selection of mentor might derail everything in your life.

A mentor is a person who can truly understand your strengths and weaknesses. I do remember a girl who was in my life a few years back, I was aware of all her weaknesses and strengths and she was also looking towards me only whenever she needed any advice.

Your Friends 

Types of people with whom you spend your most of the time can influence your natural growth. Truly your friends play a very vital role towards the improvement of yourself.

Honestly, you can become the mentor of anyone but cannot be the friends of everyone. Try to include those people only in your friends list who has the positive attitude, and tries to improve others only.

If you get someone of this helping nature as your friend, never try to stay away from them. Try to stay in touch with them as much as possible. These qualities are hard to find out and those types of people will definitely help you to improve yourself.

So those were the top five things which I think as crucial elements for the self improvement of anyone.
