Although losing patience is not good for our own health.

How to Keep You Calm?
How to Keep You Calm?
So here are some of my own ways to keep myself calm at times:
Be Happy with What You Have
Be Happy with What You Have
This is quite similar to asking you if a half-filled glass is empty or what?
Many people will surely respond that it is half empty.
If you are also saying this then let’s discuss about your approach of looking towards this glass.
There are two parts of this glass, one part is being empty, and other is filled with water. It is general human tendency that they will focus towards the empty part of it, not towards the filled part. And hence they respond that it is half empty.
On the other hand if you ever get the chance to interact with any successful person on this topic, you will realize that they will only think about this glass is half filled.
This approach is known as the positive approach. This is something which can always help you to stay calm at worse situations.
Recently came through this line (but I actually don’t remember where I encounter this otherwise I would have given the due credit for it to the same person who said it) that this glass is half filled with water and rest half portion of this glass is being filled by air. So this means that the entire glass is filled with something, no portion of it is empty.
Always develop this tendency of appreciating what you have, rather than thinking bad all the time about what you don’t have.
It will simply boost your mood.
To be very frank, if you meet around 100 people daily, you will realize that 90+ out of those 100 are still don’t have the reach to the things which you have in your life. Then why to look towards those less than 10 people, who has something which unfortunately you don’t have?
Clearly, first don’t compare your life with someone else; second if you are still doing so, then do compare your life with those types of people only who have fewer things than you. And you will realize that you are living a far better life than many other people.
Stay Positive
Stay Positive
As I discussed all those things in the above point, it was simply a clear message that people should have this approach of stay positive in their life.
It’s not an exception that positive thoughts help removing stress in our life. Thus when there will be no stress, or when you know how not to be stressed for any reason, you can always stay calm.
Stop Worrying
Stop Worrying
The biggest reasons which can disappear you calmness is the worry. The more you will worry, the more tensions you will have in your life.
If you want to stay calm then the very first thing which is required from you is to avoid asking What If in every situation.
Instead of worrying about results, spend that time on implementing your plans and see how you can be calmed down.
Proper Sleep
Proper Sleep
To live a happy and healthy life you must need a proper sleep of around 7-8 or even more hours.
It is my own experience that when I don’t get the chance to complete my sleep properly, it can make me fretful and I can react on anything, despite being the fact that I have been considered as a calm guy.
A proper sleep can always help you to stay calm.
Deep Breathe
Deep Breathe
Another things which can help you to stay calm at times is taking deep breathe. When you take deep breathe it helps you to throw away all the tensions and stress from your mind. This way you can easily stay calm at times.
Other than all those above mentioned points you can also limit your caffeine intake and increase your patience level to stay calm at worse times.
Other than these there might be some other ways as well, which I might not be aware of and you can share the same with us in the form of comment. I would be happy to hear your thought on this.

I needed this Alok Sir! I loose my temper very often(maybe its the age, late 40’s people call it mid-life crisis), good to get away saying age ,lol.
Thanks a lot Nima, it is not the fault of age mam, it all depends on how well we can take things which comes to us. I am into mid 30’s but still am seeing that I also loses patience sometimes. Though it is not the age when you think about being temper and that too up to the maximum level.
But then it is my wife who usually handle me with cares and I recover from it soon. 🙂

Nice one Alok, I really like the first point. I think that’s probably one of the most challenging tasks in life, especially when we are challenged so often which makes us rethink on a lot of values.. But staying past that is skill indeed and calmness is certainly a great outcome when you know that something uncomfortable is happening around you and you don’t let it bother you, that’s fascinating indeed 🙂
Yes Vinay you said it absolutely right. I am really feeling great that you liked it 🙂 Thanks a lot for your visit and comment.
