I guess in India there are two things which are considered as the hot cake. One is cricket and other one is entertainment.

Glamour world is such that we all always want to hear about them. Be it an actor or a actresses or a cricket player, we all are too keen to hear about their life. Undoubtedly other than some international cricket players, not many players get the lime light. On the other hand when it comes about the Bollywood, every person who has either worked for a single movie or not even in a single movie will still have the chance to get the lime light.

Especially about actresses, people are crazy to know more about them. People are crazy behind knowing the personal life of all the actresses.

Anyways, when it comes about entertainment, I am quite sure that there were two posts from I News India which was among the top 5 most viewed pages of the site. You can check them on the popular posts list as well, which is on the right sidebar of the site.

Yesterday only I thought about creating another post similar to 15 Sexiest Indian Women and 10 Sexiest Eyes of India. Hope this new post will soon beat them and reach to the top five posts of I News India soon.

Who is the Best Actress from Bollywood? 

Personally speaking my all time favorite is none other than Juhi Chawala, I was a huge fan of her bubbly smiles from my childhood only. For many Madhuri Dixit was the number one heroine from India. Obviously she is one of the finest actresses of India, and one who was the queen of million hearts at some time.

Even I was a big fan of Aishwarya Rai too, who later on married Abhishek Bachchan and became Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

There was a time when Aishwarya was featuring on almost all the books of mine during my college days.

But when you think about top actresses from the lot which are active these days, it really becomes a tough choice.

When I thought to create a list of top 10 best actresses from Bollywood, I personally found around 25+ names, and then selecting 10 out of them was a tough decision.

Who is the Number One? 

Well as I said that selecting top 10 from the present lot was really difficult then you can easily understand how difficult it is to select who is the number one? We know there are so many actresses out here in Bollywood, based on the popularity we came up with a few who can be considered as the best actress of Bollywood considering the present status of the actresses and their recent movies performance.

Here are those top 10 best actresses from Bollywood:

# 10 Parineeti Chopra 

Parineeti Chipra is actually the cousin sister of Priyanka Chopra and known for her lovely and cute smile. She marked her presence in Bollywood with the movies like Shudh Desi Romance, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, etc.

She was born on 22nd October 1988, and prior to joining the film industry she was active in investment banking sector, and started her career with YRF with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. Her second movie was Ishaqzaade, in which she truly left her mark.

Recently she came up with two movies Shuddh Desi Romance, and Hasee Toh Phasee. So these were some of performances which brought her to the number 10 slot of our top 10 best actresses list from Bollywood.

#9 Huma Qureshi 

Huma Qureshi was born on 28th July 1986 and so far has not yet became an actress who can run a film by her own, but still she displayed her talent in the movies like Gangs of Wasseypur (both part 1 and 2), D Day, Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, Dedh Ishqiya, etc.

Shraddha Kapoor is being the daughter of Shakti Kapoor, and started her career with a flop movie Teen Patti, though it landed her into the nomination of the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut category. She marked her presence in Bollywood later in 2013 with the biggest blockbuster Aashiqui 2.

Luv ka The End and Aashiqui 2 are the two movies which forced use to take her for the number 8 position in this list.

A few months back one movie Highway released and its USP was the powerful role played by the lead actress of the movie Alia Bhatt. Though Alia already debuted in Bollywood with one of the mega hit Student of The Year, but then this movie Highway did a dramatic change in her image.

I am placing her as the number 2 in this list.

I never had any issue in making her number 1 in my list, as she is such a cute actresses of Hindi film industry. She is the daughter of famous Badminton player Prakash Padukone, and I became her fan from her movie Om Shanti Om.

She has worked for movies like Om Shanti Om, Love Aaj Kal, Race 2, Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani, Ram-Leeela, etc.

Undoubtedly at the present time she is the most successful and the best actresses and hence I am placing her at the number one position.
