Top 5 Best Smartphone to Buy in India under Rs. 10000!
The biggest confusion which I have ever faced is of buying a Smartphone. Actually these days if you visit the market or a mobile shop you will realize that there are so many options of smartphone available to make you confuse enough to choose one.
It is not only a difficult task, but a cumbersome as well.
Especially when you are having a budget constraint then you can consider it as a big challenge to find out a smartphone with all the latest features to suit your budget. Recently one of my friends informed that she wanted to buy a smartphone but unfortunately her budget was less than 10K Rs. only.
Considering the request, at first I thought it won’t be possible to get a smartphone with all the latest features under this budget range, but then I researched about it, and collected information about 5 smartphones which are falling the range of under 10000 Rs. and having all the latest features as well.
As per my choices I listed them in this measure, but then it might be possible that others were having a different preference, so I am also conducting this poll so that I can understand and decide the best smartphone to buy in India under Rs. 10000.
Please do participate in the poll and vote for your choice over here: http://trnk.in/3ph6
Here are a few options as selected by so many research in so many online phone store:
With the features like Android v4.4 (KitKat) OS, 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor and memories of 1 GB RAM along with 4 GB Internal Memory & Expandable Memory of 32 GB I thought Moto E is the gem in this category. Especially when Motorola launched this phone, it has been priced at only 6999 Rs. which is truly awesome. In this price range you can’t expect a mobile phone with at least 1 GB of RAM, but Moto E does have the same.
Not only this Moto E is a Dual Standby SIM (GSM + GSM) facility, along with 5 MP Primary Camera but lacks the secondary camera. I guess one of the biggest drawback of this mobile phone is the lack of the secondary camera, else there was no doubt that it would have been the best and the cheapest smartphone of India.
Moto E comes with 4.3-inch Touch Screen, with Corning Gorilla Glasses and Anti-smudge Coat and Splash Guard, which is making it dust free, a bit water proof phone. When I am saying a bit, it actually means that it can protect some drops of water falling onto it, but yes it won’t be considered as a water proof mobile phone.
It comes with 1980 mAh Battery which is called by Motorola as sufficient for 24 hours of surfing, although a user like me will require it to be charged in around 16-20 hours of gap as my usage on a smartphone is too high compared to any normal user. It also has the feature of FM Radio.
I guess these many features along with a price of 6999 Rs. is making it number one in my choice. What do you think?
The second smartphone in my choice range is from Samsung, a mobile phone company which is seriously giving challenge to even iPhone. Though as we were looking for budget smartphone this phone Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582 falls into this range with the features like Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and 1.2 GHz Dual Core Application Processor with 768 MB RAM and 4 GB ROM.
It also comes with an expandable memory of 64 GB and having scope for Dual SIM (both GSM) with 5 MP main Camera and 0.3 MP Secondary Camera, ideal for a video chat.
It’s screen is of 4-inch and it is TFT Capactive Touch Screen and it has 1500 mAh Battery. This handset has a price of around 8999 Rs.
The next phone in this series is from an Indian company Micromax, which is seriously giving competition to any other mobile phone. No doubt Micromax is producing some really budget friendly smartphones, and since it came with Doodle series it becomes too popular over here in India.
This phone is featuring in this series because of the features like Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and 1.3 GHz Dual Core Processor , which is making it a faster phone.
Canvas Doodle 3 is having a limitation with RAM as it comes with 512 MB RAM and 2 GB Internal Memory, 4 GB ROM and Expandable Memory of 32 GB. It also has Dual SIM (again both GSM) along with 5 MP Back Camera and 0.3 MP Front Camera. The concern with Moto E is being resolved in both these phones but then I guess in this price range you should look for other features than the secondary camera.
It has a screen of 6-inch Touchscreen along with 2500 mAh Battery, which is quite convenient. It’s price is around 7949 Rs.
The next phone in my series of budget smartphones is from the world’s number one mobile phone company Nokia. It is Nokia Lumia 520. Although Nokia are not considered as a very good phone in smartphone category, but with Lumia they seriously are in the fight.
Thought it is a Windows v8 mobile phone (OS) and it has 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Dual Core processor along with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB Internal Memory.
They also have an Expandable Memory of 64 GB and come with the feature of 7 GB SkyDrive space for the user.
Other issue with this phone is that it is a Single SIM (GSM) phone.
It has 5 MP Primary Camera and no secondary camera. It’s screen is of 4-inch Touchscreen and it has 1430 mAh Battery.
It’s price is of around 7999 Rs.
Those who know me personally are also aware of the fact that Sony Xperia was one of my all time favorite mobile phone. I was having a Xperia X10, which is currently being used by my wife.
I include this phone in this price range because of some features like Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS along with 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
It also has some limitation like it has only 512 MB RAM. But then it also has 4 GB Internal Memory and 4 GB ROM along with an Expandable Memory of 32 GB. It also has the feature of Single SIM (GSM) only.
It comes with 3.2 MP Primary Camera and no secondary camera, and 3.5 Inches TFT screen, and 1530 mAh Battery.
Price of this handset is around 6350 Rs.
So these were the top 5 smartphones falling under the budget range of under 10000 Rs. Do let me know your choice from these and please vote for your preferences over here:
Please do let me know if you know some mobile phone which should also be included in this list, as it will benefit our readers to choose from different handsets.
