Anybody Can Do Blogging, But Not Guest Blogging – My First Book!

Let me first announce the official launch of my first book. I know that you all were waiting for it since long. It really took a long time to convert it into the shape of the book.

As most of you are already aware that I was writing my first book on the topic of guest blogging. I give the title of “Anybody can do Blogging, but not Guest Blogging?” to it.

I am quite sure that you all will anticipate my efforts towards writing this book. Although I planned writing this book in a different way, but then Matt Cutts announced officially the death of Guest Blogging for SEO purposes, which forced me to rewrite it in a different perspective.

You all know that many internet marketing professionals claims that guest blogging is dead. But I don’t agree on the same. In my opinion guest blogging will always remain a great internet marketing tool. Just remember how important article marketing was, but then as it lost its charm, guest blogging is also following the same path.

The main reasons being the fact that people tried spamming these tools badly. If you ask me I will never say article marketing or guest blogging as a dead thing. In fact for me guest blogging is actually the enhanced and betterment of the article marketing only.

 Challenges towards Guest Blogging!

If you are having a bit of the knowledge of the things happened in the field of SEO recently, you might say that guest blogging is actually suffering from the poor quality of blog posts, whose ultimate aim was to get a back link for their website.

Those cheap so called SEO guys never give value towards contributing value to other blogs. This was the prime reason why guest blogging failed badly. Now it is the time that we can understand this thing and utilizes guest blogging up to the maximum.

To be very frank the basic concept behind guest blogging was to give value and quality to some other blogs, as similar to the same efforts which you are giving to your own blog. Believe me if you don’t have the tendency of giving the best, you won’t expect the best from anything.

I still get around 3-4 mails on a daily basis, which will claim that they are blah-blah, and loves my blog and wanted to share their blog with my readers, but the moment I open their posts, I can simply utter a single word – Ah.

I cannot allow such cheap blog posts on my blog, on which I am investing so much time, energy and efforts.

I guess none of you will allow a crape (having 3-4 anchor text links towards very poor quality websites) on your blog, will you?

I am quite sure all of you will say a No to my above question.

 Is Guest Blogging Dead?

Well this recent hullabaloo is because of the blog post which Matt shared on his blog. It was about the death of guest blogging, but he clearly mentioned that guest blogging for SEO purposes are dead.

I do accept Matt.

We don’t have any power to argue the anti-spam head of Google. After all our bread and butter go on because of Google only, and you being the boss, how can we say anything against you?

So I do also believe that those who only consider guest blogging as a tool for link building purposes should feel that it is dead.

They should not try their hand into guest blogging.

But then there are people like you who give so much importance about whatever you write, should be rewarded for their efforts.
