Well, to be very honest Indian film industry (popularly known as Bollywood) rotates around some so called superstars. No matter if a movie won’t have any story, it can become a blockbuster one if there is a star associated with it. It is a fact that whenever we think about real cinema, it always rotates around a sad movie with some touchy emotional scenes into it. And whenever we think about commercial cinema, it rotates around so many so called entertainment things which in fact does not make any sense.
Why don’t we make real cinemas which can even entertain people?
This is for the first time when I saw this movie Sunsilk Real FM, thanks to the IndiBlogger team who organized a special screening for us, I realized that in a limited budget and with some unknown or new stars too Indian filmmakers has the ability to develop such an entertaining and real movie.

When we think about Anurag Basu, we can always claim that he is the person who always prefers to develop quality cinema only. Basu who already made movies like Saaya, Murder, Gangster, Kites, and especially Barfi, this time came up with a simple and sweet story, completely based on the youngsters.
We watched this movie in an exclusive screening organized by IndiBlogger, though we reached a bit late over there as it was a weak day and missed a few scenes. But the moment we joined, we started enjoying the movie. Frankly at the end of the movie we had only one word – Awesome.
This movie of Real FM was made by Anurag Basu especially for MTV, which tells a story of few girls who were inspired by the Sunsilk. Unfortunately one of them met with an incident in which her father was admitted in a hospital and they decided to run an FM station.
The best part of this movie was this line in which the girl Rhea tells that focus on the things so that we can say that there is an India residing inside Mumbai, and if you will watch the movie you will find the same, which is a tight slap towards many so called politicians who do some dirty politics based on languages and regionalism.
The movie is the story of Rhea and two of her friends, who help each other to achieve their own goals. Although there were some love stories also going along in the movie but Basu did not tried to make this movie as a love story one, rather he focused on bringing the unfulfilled desires of all the characters on the screen, and fulfill them with the help of the 97.5 Real FM.
On the Independence Day Rhea and team took the challenge to save the FM radio station of her father, and decided to play songs from all the states of India, and finally being able to achieve the same and save the FM station as well.
All the artists (remember I am not saying them actors) did a fantastic job especially the CA guy, the goons, and the singer from Punjab, and yes how can I forget the peon in the movie. All of them performed so brilliantly that you will feel like watching this movie for so many times.
One another thing which this movie provides us is the musical theme, which is in fact superb. You can be able to hear songs from all over India in a single movie.
One special mention, there was a scene in the movie in which a corrupt police inspector tried arresting one of the girl who was supporting Rhea and taking interviews of different people on Independence day; the way how Rhea tackled the police inspector was awesome. The moment police inspector run away, there was no one sitting in the auditorium who was not laughing at the scene.
I am really thankful to the IndiBlogger team which provided us this opportunity of watching the exclusive screening of such a nice movie. Hope to get some more opportunities in near future.
