I think there’s lack of creativity on the content writer’s part. Saying that a lot of people look at easy money via content writing. If they can’t handle it all at once they may resort to this scheme.
Copying in any form is wrong indeed. Be it a blog or website for that matter.-

This mostly happens in case of Technology blogs. Other genres do need to rely on original content 🙂
