Attended Nokia Lumia Your Wish is My App Season 2 with IndiBloggers!

I am into blogging since 2008, and with the help of the indibloggers.in I am associated with many bloggers out here from India. Though I was not that much active on this community, but I was thinking to participate in any events which they might have in Delhi, so that I can get a chance to interact with many other bloggers from my town.

Finally, I got the chance to get register for the Nokia Lumia Your Wish is My App season 2 event, which held on 24th of January 2014, at the Oberoi hotel, New Delhi.

I was even so much excited to attend the meet that I left my workplace one hour ago to reach there on time, and as you all know how difficult it to reach to a place in Delhi on time, but thankfully, I reached there on time.

Being a weekday, I was a bit concerned if I can be able to meet all the bloggers from Delhi or not, and to my surprise many of them turned to the event. It was a houseful event and some of the bloggers participated in the event without getting a chair to sit as well.

To be very frank, since I was not participated in Nokia YWMA last year, I was not much aware about what would be the course of action in the meet. But once the meet started, I came to know that we are there to suggest what type of new app we want on Nokia Lumia. We were supposed to give ideas and one of the best idea will win the latest Nokia Lumia phone (I am sorry but I forget the model number).

As per Nokia, last year, they had around 36000 ideas for apps which could be similar to ket qua xo so.

The event was hosted by the great tech guy Rajiv Makhni, also known as the Cell Guru. I have seen many of his programs on NDTV, but seeing him live was entirely a different experience.

Then the jury members had the great master chef, the Vikas Khanna, who himself is a very humble guy with pleasant personality. I was a bit aware about him, as my sister in law was a big fan of his shows, and as I do love cooking as well.

It was an awesome moment to have a photo shoots with him after the event, and I in fact took a selfie as well with him.

Then the jury was also having the guy known for his gaming abilities, the founder and CEO of IndiaGames, Vishal Gondal. I cannot explain the happiness to meet him over there, you will be surprised if you ever meet him, he is such a decent and simple guy, and you won’t believe it.

The event was basically for the ideas of apps, and we came to know about many crazy ideas over there. The best one was no doubt the Organ Donation one which was given by a young (around 8 years old) kid. There were some funny ideas as well like the Loo locator apps, the PHD maker one, the Love Guru Apps idea given by Vishal, etc.

My Idea about an App

Well, frankly speaking my ideas about an app was seriously an app which can fulfill all our wishes.

But I know it’s an impractical thought.

So I suggested an idea, which in fact is something which is very much required to me and bloggers like me. The problem which we normally encounter while doing blogging is while doing research for any new topic, we need to remain dependent on Google only. Whatever results Google will display we only have the scope to go through them only. While in fact there are many blogs which are on the same topic, but with the help of Google we might not be able to reach to them.

So my idea about the app was that there should be an app which can list us all the blogs related to our searched term.

I am quite sure that this type of an app will definitely help our bloggers community and students/researchers as well.
