Take Benefit from the Experience of your senior as You Search for Job!
These days I was looking for a web designer for my company. I was searching for a web or graphic designer for my company from last two months and believe me, I have gone through around hundreds of profile, called them up, asked them to come for an interview, and conducted the interview too. Most surprising thing is that around 80% of them are not at all serious about their profile, and out of rest 20% only 20% of them turned to attend the interview.
It means overall a success rate of only 4%, who came to give interview, but surprisingly none of them impressed me at all. Those who came to give interview are not having any good knowledge, nor were they showing any interest to learn. Thus my search for a web designer is still going on.
I was simply thinking that what is happening with this generation, although the candidates are only 5 to 7 years younger to me, but I found many difference in them with our group. One of the drawbacks of the present lot is that they don’t know exactly where to move ahead in their life, whether it is their professional life or the personal life.
Well, let me share one of the best habits with you all, which can help you to get more success in your professional life. This is a secret which I have my self implemented and have seen the positive results. You will surprise to see the positive results while giving interviews, if you follow the habit of asking your seniors and other experienced people about how they accomplished success in their life.
Strange, I think yes, for the present generation asking seniors for their experience is really difficult, but if you can implement this in your professional life then you can achieve great success. Give respect to your seniors and experienced people and ask their success secret and then put the suggestions into your own life.
When I joined my first company, my senior was a very knowledgeable person, and he was a very serious guy. I always tried to gain as much knowledge from him as possible, although he was not that much co-operative and other people in the company were maintaining good distance from him, but frankly speaking whatever I learned in my life was simply because he gave me a few tips, and I utilized them in my life and learned a lot.
So guys make an attitude of learning from each moment of your life and never hesitate to ask those people who are there around you and who are more experienced than you. I wish best of luck to you all for your future.
