Looks like Reddit had its grave dugg. Let me get this straight, we are comparing two websites’ popularities based on how many people vote for each website. One website has a much, much larger user base than the other. The result of this test is completely obvious, and has no bearing as to which website is better than the other. All you can glean from this vote is that more Digg users voted than Reddit users.

Well, in terms of front page results, you can’t really argue with the influx of traffic you can get from digg, but reddit traffic is great as well. If you’re story doesn’t go front page on digg, don’t expect much. But, if your story doesn’t go front page on reddit, then expect a reasonable influx of traffic if it gets hot at least. The scolling chronological front page of digg doesn’t allow a site to get uber traffic, unless it makes the “hot in popular”, where as the reddit front page shows the hottest story in each category or subreddit, no matter what.
