This is good article on todays education as it helps in boosting our country. Indian Govt should also start scheme like delhi’s govt has started ‘Ladali scheme’ which provide 1 lakh for each girl in std 10th and 12th for the promotion of girls education. So govt can start more schemes like this for providing education.

I am totally agree with this article, As a Computer engineer i have also feel the problem during education and i can say that we can improve the education system and make them more strong to walk on the wall of world.

Course and practical education provided by the universities are out of date. when we walk to the market after graduation, we have to work on the technology which were never taught in the college.

Now a days, Government taking action and trying to make this more professional, i hope we will get good and effective education system in coming days.

Hukkah is a threat……………….Nowadays hukkah has become a trend in Mumbai.99% are students who smoke hukkah.Once i went with my friend to Hukkah parlour there i asked one guy why you smoke hukkah he said to get free from tension and stress caused because of excess stuies, classes, parents expectations…Hukkah is injurious to health still they enjoy having it.If we want India to develope 1st d system should be changed a bit care and attention should be given to the problems faced a by a regular student.

    Hi Pratiksha,
I m not totally agree with your comment as i was a student and i stayed in hostel for 10 years.

As you said student start having hukkah or cig or drink due to tension than it is totally wrong. What short of tension they are having. I found that 50% student are not taking their study seriously. they used to start reading when exam came. As such parents are expenses lot of money and fulfill their requirement by thinking that my child is studying seriously and here the case is different…their child are roaming here and there, and start cig, drink and hukkah for the sake of enjoyment and status.

Now when result came, they get ATKT or fail, and now parents will react.

Now student will say, i got fail in exam, parents scold me, or i m not performing well in class… now what do u think? are they really tensed?
i will never accept that student having tension in study. They are really get lots of time and facility to perform well.

Firstly, let us NOT talk about what the system or government should do – rather, ask ourselves what we are ready to do. It is very easy to blame everyone else!!The govt. asked for 6 months internship from newly passed MBBS doctors to go to rural areas so even our villages get good medical help. How many doctors honour that commitment?
Let us ask ourselves – if newly passed engineering graduates are asked to set up/work for a project in the rural areas, how many will go?
The government is doing a lot – we the citizens who are a part of the system do NOT do our duties, hence all the problems arise! We must all do our own bit to contribute actively to putting the system in place and then complain.
I bet very few of you know that the syllabi of various Indian degrees are on par (at times higher) than the western counterparts. As students do ‘partial study’ i.e. work out a system where quite a few topics “option pe daal doonga”, naturally their knowledge base is poor – so they blame the system!! Easy, isn’t it??
Be sincere, practise/study regularly and then suggest what govt should do…….If your basics are clear, the new graduate can pick up any new skill at the place of work – it is NOT difficult.
