WE are used to only coffee and tea and not green tea and it seems it is available and mostly used in China.Information on green tea including that it has some important side effect causing insomnia are all ok.Then why should I take risk.I want to sleep atleast eight hours a day minimum. Then why should I risk myself by getting used tio green tea which is alien to me.I am fully satisfied with our moderate dosage of coffee, of one or two cups a day with all its attendant benefits. Anyhow thanks Vats for supplying green tea atleast on paper. rabasure

  3. the thing about your argument that it is alien and might cause insomnia is that coffee has a much higher concentration of caffiene, and is much more likely to cause that side affect. so if you already drink a cup or two of coffee a day and replace it with green tea you will probably sleep much better at night and reap more benefits. so um yeah it might be alien, but really? I’ve been drinking green tea since I was 10, honestly if a kid from idaho can find it and drink it it can’t really be that alien.

I consume a lot of green tea these days, I actually will not drink black tea or coffee any more. I started drinking green tea because of all the health enhancements related with it plus the most important reason for me is the reported increase in the metabolism from drinking a cup of green tea. For me I only brew the tea for around 2 minutes, I in addition use a very small quantity of fructose sugar this makes it quite a enjoyable beverage!
